Overview & Challenges
Cryptozoic Entertainment is a company that specializes in creating collectibles and tabletop games based on their own original properties and properties they are licensed to do.
The main challenge I faced while there was that most of their projects required approval from the owners of the licenses, so it was not only approval from my supervisors but also from the original studios and companies that are the owners of the licenses.
Another challenge I faced was the varied amount of branding knowledge I had to study and learn for each license that I was tasked to work on. I also had to make sure I included certain motifs from each license as it was something they wanted to make sure was included in certain projects.
My Contributions
My main contribution was creating digital trading cards that would be collectible on an app called Quidd. I was given the opportunity to create trading cards Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe.
I also worked on social media posts, online ads, and other projects related to their collectibles side of their products.
Licenses I had the opportunity to work on include Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, Steven Universe, Cryptkins, and DC Bombshells.

Worked on: Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Cryptkins, and DC Bombshells; Quidd digital trading cards/stickers, online ads, social media art for original and licensed. The internship also included training on how to setup files to be sent to both digital and print vendors.

Stevonnie Survival Digital Trading Cards
I designed this to follow the theme of "survival" and made the card look like a worn piece of paper that you might find in the setting of these scenes.
Giant Woman Digital Trading Cards
I was able to find a moment in the designated featured scene that did a perfect loop, so I designed this card to show that as much as possible. I used clouds because it is a common background element in most of the scenes.
Rick Really Cares Digital Trading Cards
The concept I created is the border shows what is inside his heart by having his shirt ripped open showing what his heart is made of.
